I love Saturdays!

And today was an extra fun Saturday!  I was invited to attend the first craftgossip.com "Fork and Talk" today.   We met at http://www.triosrestaurant.com at the Pavilion in the Park  ... lunch was so yummy and wine was dry and very tasty!

EK Success were the hosts for the event.  They shared the most interesting products with us .. I had no idea that their company was behind so many labels that I adore!

It was so much fun .. to meet others with the same passion as I ... sure do miss going to crops and such .... hope to get back going again soon.

Coyotes do fly ...

The title comes from a cute story about my Mom. She and my Dad had retired and a friend was over for a visit to their new retirement home which sits on 7 acres ... a pond ... lots of trees .. quite a big change from living in the big city ... as she was sitting on the deck talking to our dear friend from the old neighborhood ... they were discussing the wild life they had observed since they arrived ... rabbits, cows in the pasture next to them ... all kinds of birds and she said she even thought she saw a coyote fly over the pond the other day! Too funny for words. Mom was our "Lucy" in the family and was always coming up with wonderful oops that made her my melt my heart. Even though Mom and Dad are no longer on this earth ... I know they are smiling down from heaven and will be there to greet me when I arrive ...
